Grasmere Gather brings together talented UK artisans, all under one roof – particularly those continuing the legacy of traditional heritage industries in Cumbria. A huge amount of skill and passion has gone into creating each product at the Grasmere Gather, and we proudly display the stories behind each maker or artisan alongside their work in the shop.

We are sticklers for Cumbrian and UK provenance, meaning every item at the Grasmere Gather has a supply chain you can trust. This is good news for reducing our products’ environmental impact and carbon footprint, something we feel strongly about; and by keeping their production small, our local artisans can personally guarantee the quality of each item. With limited numbers produced, and small natural variations due to their hand-crafted production processes, you can be sure that what you’re taking home is one-of-a-kind and by definition “limited”.

One of the best parts of working so closely with our brands is the opportunity to develop colours, fragrances or product lines exclusive to Grasmere Gather – creating items that truly cannot be found anywhere else.

We aim to celebrate and support our artisans wherever possible, along with the incredible landscapes that inspire them – we are passionate about the heritage and impact of both. Many of our brands have trailblazed the way for diversified farming to succeed in the Lake District, showing the creativity and resilience needed to survive a shifting economic landscape.
