Julie Asquith Coghlan is a highly accomplished textile artist who brings her passion for nature and art to her stunning collection of cowls, mittens, and scarves. With over 40 years of experience in the Art & Design industry and a First Class Honours in Contemporary Applied Arts, Julie’s creations reflect her deep connection to the natural world.
Working from her studio in the Lake District, Julie handknits all her pieces, drawing inspiration from the beauty of local wildlife—particularly birds. The vibrant colours and patterns of these birds inspire her lambswool collections. Some of the birds she takes inspiration from include robins, nuthatches and blackbirds.
