Lakeland Rings

Hayley and Rob, the husband-and-wife partnership behind Lakeland Rings, create beautiful and sustainable jewellery from their family-run business on the southern edge of the Lake District. Their jewellery is made of 100% recycled solid silver and uses stone and slate found in Cumbria or the nearby Welsh Mountains. Their goal is for customers to cherish their jewellery as much as they love making it.

Their  journey began in 2020 when, like many, Rob found himself with extra time on his hands and decided to try his hand at ring-making. Rob has now expanded into beautiful earrings and pendants. The Elterwater slate, Westmorland Green, Skiddaw slate and St. Bees sandstone used in these earrings have been found in Cumbria whilst the Welsh slate comes from Penhyrn quarry in North Wales. The ethically sourced lapis lazuli embodies the Dolly Blue pigment manufactured in the Lake District village of Backbarrow and used widely in the UK in the 1900’s.

Cumbria has a rich mining history, and these fabulous pieces of jewellery continue to celebrate it. Each piece is designed to be worn and treasured for a lifetime, made with love, passion, and respect for the environment.
