Gill Rogers makes gorgeous wheel thrown pottery, ideal for gifting or to embellish your own home. Each unique ceramic piece is handmade and hand-painted by Gill, who is based in the North West of England.
Functionality sits at the heart of Gill’s design ethos, meaning all pieces are usable and practical as well as aesthetically pleasing. Gill draws inspiration for her work from the natural beauty that surrounds her studio, with many of her design ranges evoking the colours and moods of British landscapes in different seasons.
Gill principally uses two types of stoneware: a toasted colour with her speckled finish, which adds a gorgeous earthy look; and her smooth white stoneware, which provides a perfect base for Gill’s distinctive vivid, reflective coloured glazes. Her designs echo the rhythms of nature, with fluid lines that are inviting and comforting to hold.
