Lindsay Oliphant has had a passion for painting since childhood, where her love for art was nurtured by her family. After spending 15 years as a commercial artist and print designer, Lindsay made the decision to pursue her personal art, allowing her to develop her own unique style.
Lindsay’s work is inspired by abstract forms, and she predominantly uses alcohol inks as her chosen medium. The fluidity of the inks allows her to create organic, dynamic structures that bring a sense of freedom to her art. Combining this abstract style with her love for the Lake District, Lindsay explores exaggerated landscapes, textures, and colours that invite viewers to form their own connections with her work. Grasmere Gather is pleased to showcase Lindsay’s work across several different mediums.
