Isabella Lepri crafts unique wheel-thrown stoneware, including tableware and vases inspired by the rocks and lichen of the Cumbrian fells. All Isabella’s pieces are handmade in her studio at Brougham Hall, near Penrith.
Born and raised in Milan, Isabella moved to London in her early twenties, where she discovered her love for ceramics. She also spent 18 months in the Bolivian Amazon, as part of her Anthropology studies, and has been based in Cumbria since 2019. All these diverse influences bring visible inspiration to her work, including unique coloured glazes and her distinctive ‘lichen’ moon jars.
