Inspired by the meandering beauty of restored rivers, the Haweswater Throw reflects the conservation work at Wild Haweswater, a partnership between the RSPB and United Utilities. The river, once straightened, has now been carefully re-wiggled, allowing nature to return and biodiversity to thrive.

The flowing design, created by the Lancs and Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, echoes the curves of newly freed streams. It’s woven from 100% Cheviot wool sourced from Naddle Farm, part of the Wild Haweswater estate, a place where ecological restoration and upland farming go hand in hand.

Soft, strong, and rich in story, this throw brings a sense of movement, care, and renewal to any space.
