Spun from the heart of a valley where rails meet rock, the Eskdale Throw takes its design cues from the circular form of the steam train turntable on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, one of the most scenic and historic lines in the country. The warm pink hue woven through the cloth echoes the distinctive tones of Eskdale granite, grounding the throw in the landscape it comes from.

Designed by the Lancs and Lakes Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers, the pattern brings a sense of motion and structure, balanced by the natural softness of locally sourced wool. The fleece is a thoughtful blend of Cheviot, Dalesbred, Welsh Badgerface, and Texel, collected from farmers Claire Postlethwaite, Andrew Harrison, and David Crow - all working the land in and around the Eskdale valley.

A throw that wraps you in warmth, heritage, and place. Perfect for the arm of a chair, the end of a bed, or evenings beside the fire.
